Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

At House of Celebrations by C’Lai, we want every purchase to bring you joy. We take pride in our collections and are committed to offering:

  • Easy return and exchange process

Please read the following policy carefully before making a purchase.

1) General Guidelines

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition (for hygiene reasons).
  • Products must have original tags, labels, and packaging intact. Items without tags will not be accepted.
  • Non-returnable & non-exchangeable products include:
    Customized garments
    Tailored ordersStitched blouses
    Sarees with fall/pico
    Altered products
    Sale items & clearance stock
    Jewelry, accessories, masks, brooches, handkerchiefs, hair accessories, travel kits, buntings, gift boxes, and paintings
  • All return or exchange requests must be raised within 10 days of receiving the order.
  • Requests beyond this window will not be accepted.

2) Return & Exchange Process

  • Our customer care team will guide you through the process and share the return shipping details.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or incorrect.
  • Once we receive the product, our team will conduct a quality check before approving the return or exchange.

3) Refunds

  • Refunds are issued only in the following cases:
    You received a defective or damaged product
    You received the wrong product
    Your order was canceled before shipping
  • Refunds are not applicable on customized, altered, or sale products.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
  • Shipping charges and COD charges (if any) are non-refundable.

4) Exchanges

  • Exchanges are allowed only for size issues or product defects.
  • If the requested size is unavailable, you may choose another product of the same or higher value (by paying the difference).
  • Exchange requests must also be raised within 10 days of delivery.

5) International Orders

  • No returns, refunds, or exchanges are applicable on international orders, except in cases of wrong or defective products.
  • In such cases, customers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order, with pictures and order details.

6) Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled only within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Once the order is processed or shipped, cancellation is not possible.
  • For prepaid orders, refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7–10 business days.

7) Important Notes

  • All returns/exchanges are subject to inspection and approval by our quality check team.
  • Products that do not meet return conditions will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a return/exchange if the product appears used, damaged, or tampered with.
